Going forward, Webtoon will make comic books featuring popular Disney characters such as The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, and Star Wars available to its users. Disney owns Marvel Comics and the Star Wars franchise. The deal brings Marvel comic books to Webtoon, which already features DC Comics characters such as Superman and Batman.
Surprise Profit
Webtoon claims to have 155 million monthly active users on its digital comic book platform.
