U.S. stock futures edged lower Tuesday evening after a volatile but positive session for the major indices. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 (NDX), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), and the S&P 500 Index (SPX) were down 0.05%, 0.03%, and 0.01%, respectively, at 6:12 p.m. EST on November 25.

Stocks closed higher for a second straight day in the holiday-shortened week, even as Nvidia (NVDA) and other chipmakers slipped on reports that Meta (META) may use Google’s (GOOGL) AI chips. The Dow Jones, the S&P 500, and the Nasdaq gained 1.4%, 0.9%, and 0.7%, respectively.
In key economic reports, September Durable Goods Orders, initial jobless claims, and the Fed’s Beige Book will be closely watched tomorrow for insight into the economy’s health. On the earnings front, Li Auto (LI) and Deere (DE) will report results on Wednesday.
