This exchange-traded fund is part of the Information Technology category, focusing specifically on the dynamic and rapidly evolving semiconductor niche. It tracks the NYSE Semiconductor Top 5 Equal Weight Index, has $1.40 million of assets under management. Its share price is down 57% in the year-to-date to $8.47.
Hikaru has bought 1,000 shares at $8.78. It comes to 6.23% of his overall holdings.
XLE – The Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund is a dynamic investment vehicle designed to provide exposure to the energy sector, one of the most critical and volatile segments of the global economy. As a sector-focused exchange-traded fund, XLE specifically targets a broad-based niche within the energy landscape, offering investors a diversified portfolio of companies involved in the development, production, and distribution of energy. It has 23 holdings including oil giants Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX). Its share price is up nearly 31% in the year-to-date to $59.44.
Hikaru has bought 100 shares at $57.75. It comes to 2.93% of his overall holdings.
Overall, Hikaru has a total portfolio return of 31.3% since September 15. He has an 18.5% alpha over the S&P 500 and an average annualized return of 13.8%. He has a success rate of 55%, with 11 out of 20 transactions making a profit.
