U.S. and Switzerland Agree to Accelerate Trade Talks

Swiss President Karin Keller-Sutter has said that both the U.S. and Switzerland have agreed to accelerate trade talks. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer are set to meet with Keller-Sutter and Economy Minister Guy Parmelin in a second meeting.

In 2024, the U.S. exported $25 billion of goods to Switzerland and imported $63.4 billion of goods, resulting in a $38.5 billion trade deficit.
