Job Hunting AI

Anthropic, best known for being the creator of the Claude chatbot, has been selected by the U.K.’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to help build and pilot a dedicated AI-powered assistant focused on job hunting.

Powered by Claude it will help people navigate government services and advice with the initial topic being employment. That means helping Brits find work, provide personalized career advice, get access to training, explain supports, and intelligently route people to the right services based on individual circumstances.

It builds on the agreement sealed last year between Anthropic and the British government to investigate how AI could transform public services in the U.K.

“We’re excited to partner with the UK government to help deliver on the AI Opportunities Action Plan,” commented Pip White, Anthropic’s Head of UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. “This partnership with the UK government is central to our mission. It demonstrates how frontier AI can be deployed safely for the public benefit, setting the standard for how governments integrate AI into the services their citizens depend on.”

Anthropic Goes Global

Elsewhere in Europe Anthropic has partnered with the Ministry of Education and Children in Iceland to launch one of the world’s first national AI education pilots.

Globally, Anthropic has also recently partnered with the Rwandan government to bring AI education to students across the country.

This huge exposure to the AI revolution has, according to research platform Sacra, seen Anthropic hit $7 billion in annualized revenue in October 2025, up from $1 billion at the end of 2024. Anthropic is currently projecting $9 billion in ARR by the end of 2025, $20-26 billion in 2026, and up to $34.5 billion in 2027.

As of September 2025, Anthropic closed a $13 billion Series F funding round, valuing it at $183 billion, up from $61.5 billion in March 2025.

There have been reports that it could be heading for an IPO this year or next.
