President Trump has accused George Soros of aiding violent protests, adding that the acclaimed hedge fund manager and billionaire should be charged under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

“George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America,” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Wednesday, adding “Be careful, we’re watching you!”
Soros Fuels Democratic Causes while Facing Backlash
Soros is a prominent philanthropist and has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Democratic Party since 2020. In June, Soros was accused of funding protests in Los Angeles over Trump’s immigration and deportation policies.
Before he stepped down, former President Joe Biden awarded Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his contributions in “democracy, human rights, education and social justice,” according to a White House statement.
