Trump Cancels Meeting with Democrats as Government Shutdown Odds Rise
Trump also canceled a meeting with Congressional Democrats scheduled for Thursday, saying that refusing to meet with them could “possibly be productive.” He would be willing to schedule a meeting if “they get serious about the future of our Nation” and told Democratic leaders that “the ball is in your court.”
