President Trump has issued a new title for himself after brokering a peace deal between Thailand and Cambodia. The two countries clashed for five days over a border dispute, claiming the lives of 33 people in the process.

“I have now ended many Wars in just six months — I am proud to be the President of PEACE!” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Monday.
Trump Brokers Ceasefire with Trade Threat
Thailand had initially turned down Trump’s offer to resolve the war. However, following Trump’s threats to end trade talks, the country agreed to a ceasefire. “I have instructed my Trade Team to restart negotiations on Trade,” Trump said.
In a separate post, Trump said that there would be six ongoing wars if not for him. Trump is still working to end the Ukraine-Russia war and has threatened 100% secondary tariffs on Russia in 10 to 12 days unless it reaches a ceasefire.
According to TipRanks’ Trump Dashboard, the iShares MSCI Thailand ETF (THD) will likely be affected by his ceasefire post.
