“President Trump has put together a bold strategy to strengthen and maintain America’s AI and energy dominance,” McCormick told Axios.
Trump and McCormick to Announce Record Investment
The investment will mark Pennsylvania’s largest AI and energy commitment and also create a record number of jobs in those industries. The money will be used for new data centers, energy infrastructure, AI training programs, and electricity grid development.
Several Trump administration officials will also be present at the event, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
