U.S. tariff revenue has exceeded $100 billion for the first time in a fiscal year, totaling $108 billion on a net basis as of June. June’s net tariff revenue alone totaled $26.6 billion. The fiscal year ends on September 30.

With record revenues coming in, President Trump is considering sharing the wealth with Americans.
“We’re thinking about that actually — we have so much money coming in, we’re thinking about a little rebate,” Trump said at the White House on Friday. “A little rebate for people of a certain income level might be very nice.”
Trump Weighs Paying Down Debt over Rebate Checks
However, the rebate checks aren’t guaranteed. Trump added that he was also considering using the tariff revenue to pay down U.S. debt and that “the big thing we want to do is pay down debt.” U.S. debt currently sits at a jaw-dropping $37 trillion.
