Denmark Pushes Back as Trump Seeks Greenland Talks
Trump didn’t immediately specify the details of the deal, although he mentioned that negotiations would be led by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
Earlier today, Trump called for immediate negotiations to acquire Greenland and ruled out using force as part of his plan. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen rejected Trump’s request for a discussion but said it was a “positive sign” that Trump will avoid utilizing the U.S. military.
