“THE ONLY HEALTHCARE I WILL SUPPORT OR APPROVE IS SENDING THE MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE, WITH NOTHING GOING TO THE BIG, FAT, RICH INSURANCE COMPANIES, WHO HAVE MADE $TRILLIONS, AND RIPPED OFF AMERICA LONG ENOUGH,” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Tuesday.

The Senate is set to vote on the fate of the subsidies by mid-December, which was a condition included in the deal both parties struck to reopen the government.
