On Tuesday, the Senate passed Trump’s megabill in a nail-biting 51-50 vote. The tiebreaker vote was cast by Vice President JD Vance after three Republicans chose to vote “no.”

“IF PASSED, AMERICA WILL HAVE AN ECONOMIC RENAISSANCE LIKE NEVER BEFORE,” said President Trump on Truth Social. “IT IS ALREADY HAPPENING, JUST IN ANTICIPATION OF THE BEAUTIFUL BILL.”
Trump added that the bill will slash the deficit in half while foreign companies will increase investments into the U.S.
House to Vote on Trump’s Megabill
Following the Senate’s approval, the bill is now in the hands of the House of Representatives. The first step of House approval involves the House Rules Committee deciding and then voting on the rules governing the bill debate. This step is currently ongoing and could take several hours. Afterwards, the House will hold a debate and then vote on the bill.
The House previously passed the bill but must approve it again following changes made by the Senate.
