OraSure (OSUR) received a takeover approach from healthcare entrepreneur Ron Zwanziger, Reuters’ Svea Herbst-Bayliss reports. According to three people familiar with the matter, last month Zwanziger submitted an unsolicited all-cash proposal of $3.50-$4.00 a share for OraSure. The company’s board rejected the offer not long after it was sent, without any discussions between the parties, the three sources say.
