Meta (META) CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Apple (AAPL) CEO Tim Cook are not planning to make offers to buy the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, Bloomberg’s Kurt Wagner reports. The news contrasts a report from Front Office Sports saying that Cook and Zuckerberg were weighing separate bids for the football team. “Glad we could intercept the rumors on this one: Mark is not making any investment or bid for the Seattle Seahawks,” a Meta spokesperson said. Additionally, a person familiar with Cook denied he was making an offer for the team, according to Bloomberg. Publicly traded owners of sports franchises include the Liberty Braves Group (BATRA), MSG Sports (MSGS) and Manchester United (MANU).
