ZeniMax workers vote ‘overwhelmingly’ to authorize strike

Members of ZeniMax Workers United, a union consisting of over 300 quality assurance workers at Microsoft’s (MSFT) ZeniMax subsidiary, have “overwhelmingly” authorized a strike vote. “We are united and prepared to do what it takes to fight for our first contract,” the union said in a post on BlueSky. “We’re done playing around with Microsoft.” The Verge’s Ash Parrish noted that the authorization does not mean staff have gone on strike, but that should contract negotiations break down, the union now has the permission to call a strike.
