XCOM RAN by Globalstar launches end-to-end private 5G solution

XCOM RAN by Globalstar (GSAT) announced the launch of their end-to-end private 5G solution, boosting the adoption of physical AI for automation initiatives across industries. XCOM RAN’s unique Supercell architecture, based on O-RAN standards, now includes the XCOM Radio Series with indoor and outdoor options, the XCOM Core, and the XCOM Orchestrator, a comprehensive multi-tenant management and orchestration system designed to streamline operations and minimize the learning curve for enterprise teams new to private 5G. XCOM RAN offers spectrum flexibility with support for Band n48 shared spectrum in the US and Band n78 allocated for private 5G and industrial use in Europe and parts of Asia, and uniquely leverages Globalstar Band n53 for licensed, dedicated use. The solution now also includes the XCOM Industrial Router, an Industry 4.0 CPE device that supports all three spectrum bands, enabling our customers to quickly integrate XCOM RAN private 5G into their AI-driven industrial automation environments.
