Microsoft-published (MSFT) “Forza Horizon 5,” which first launched in 2021 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, was in the top spot in terms of copies sold in May on PlayStation 5 (SONY), with 1.3M copies sold, according to data presented by Alinea Analytics’ Rhys Elliott. Adding April sales into the mix, the racing sim has now surpassed 2.2M units sold on PS5, easily surpassing revenues of $100M, making the title Xbox’s best-performing PlayStation port so far. Other top-selling games on PS5 in May, according to Alinea, include Bandai Namco’s (NCBDY) “Elden Ring Nightreign,” Electronic Arts’ (EA) “EA Sports FC 25,” Kepler’s “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,” and Microsoft’s “Minecraft.”
