CIBC analyst Kevin Chiang lowered the firm’s price target on WM (WM) to $244 from $247 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Heading into the Q1 earnings season, the firm says it does not expect any major guidance revisions from the Canadian rails or the waste sector. For its industrial/transportation coverage, the firm says waste fundamentals remain strong and it is “our preferred sector” in the face of growing economic and political uncertainty.
