Roth Capital raised the firm’s price target on WhiteFiber (WYFI) to $42 from $28 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Given the continued strength around high-performance-compute, HPC, and AI power demand, the firm is updating its valuation methodology for WhiteFiber within its sum-of-the-parts analysis, introducing incremental power to its HPC valuation that now includes contracts and uncontracted power, the analyst tells investors in a research note. NC-1 site could take time to reach full scale but could be offset by other aspects of WhiteFiber’s power portfolio and the expectations that the signing of an initial tenant for NC-1 would aid with a rerating of shares, Roth added.
