With Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth continuing to be mired in controversy over details of attacks being shared in Signal chats, the White House has begun the process of looking for a replacement, according to NPR’s Tom Bowman, citing an unnamed U.S. official. Publicly traded defense contractors include BAE Systems (BAESY), Boeing (BA), General Dynamics (GD), HII (HII), L3Harris Technologies (LHX), Lockheed Martin (LMT), Northrop Grumman (NOC), RTX (RTX) and Palantir (PLTR).
