WeRide, Uber begin offering autonomous robotaxi passenger rides in Riyadh

WeRide (WRD) and Uber (UBER) have begun offering autonomous robotaxi passenger rides in Riyadh, marking the first time autonomous vehicles are publicly available on the Uber platform in Saudi Arabia. Uber riders traveling between Roshn Front and Princess Noura University may be able to select a WeRide Robotaxi GXR, offering passengers a first-hand experience of driverless mobility in Saudi Arabia.
