Waste Connections’ Q2 results directly addressed concerns heading into the print, and highlighted the strength of the company’s underlying business, while reaffirming that its expectations around Chiquita are unchanged, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The company’s results highlight the resiliency in Waste Connections’ business model even in the face of unexpected headwinds, CIBC says.
