CIBC analyst Kevin Chiang lowered the firm’s price target on Waste Connections (WCN) to $212 from $215 and keeps an Outperformer rating on the shares. The firm does expect any major guidance revisions from the waste sector or aviation and aerospace names under coverage, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Solid waste fundamentals remain strong, though commodity prices are tracking below expectations, which will be an incremental headwind, CIBC argues.
