Walmart (WMT) announced the expansion of its drone delivery service through Alphabet (GOOGL)-owned (GOOG) Wing. “Now, millions of customers in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando and Tampa will enjoy the convenience of receiving their orders in just minutes – making Walmart the first retailer to scale drone delivery across five states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas,” the company said. “This rapid expansion reinforces Walmart’s leadership in tech-enabled retail, bringing the future of shopping to even more customers – right from the sky, faster than ever before.”
