DA Davidson analyst Michael Shlisky raised the firm’s price target on Wabash (WNC) to $9.50 from $7.50 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The firm notes that the May U.S. trailer-industry data – an important read-through for Wabash – saw orders rising 12% y/y off last year’s near-historic lows but remaining very challenged, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The trailer-market outlook continues to deteriorate as fleet profitability remains challenged and as tax, interest-rate, and policy changes are in flux, the firm added.
