Truist analyst Mark Hughes lowered the firm’s price target on W. R. Berkley (WRB) to $78 from $80 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company’s earnings beat consensus but its written premiums slowed to 1% growth on increased competition, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Truist adds that the management also expressed confidence in their ability to exceed their 15% after-tax return on equity target for the foreseeable future.
