BMO Capital raised the firm’s price target on Vistra (VST) to $244 from $230 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm is positive on the company’s announcement that it entered into 20-year PPAs with Meta Platforms (META) for about 2,600MW of energy/capacity from its three nuclear plants in PJM to support Meta’s data centers in the region. The announcements notably highlighted the importance of additionality as well as a host of political endorsements from regional politicians, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
