BMO Capital lowered the firm’s price target on Veralto (VLTO) to $118 from $124 but keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The stock came under pressure on the muted 2025 outlook for low to mid-single-digit EPS growth, with some investors having balked at paying 20-times EBITDA for 1.5%-4.0% EPS growth, the analyst tells investors in a research note. BMO contends however that the likely 2025 results will be reasonably higher as the management has set a conservative bar that they likely hurdle.
