Truist lowered the firm’s price target on Vail Resorts (MTN) to $237 from $244 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after its Q4 earnings miss. EBITDA was roughly in-line with analyst consensus expectations, given the strong snowfall in Australia, but investors were expecting at least a modest beat, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Truist adds that while Q4 is “not an important quarter”, investors will be focused on the slight deceleration in pass sales trends from May’s levels and the company calling out shortcomings and underperformance in guest engagement.
