Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on Vail Resorts (MTN) to $172 from $175 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. While challenging West conditions were well-understood, results were “worse than feared” with fiscal Q2 Resort adjusted EBITDA missing consensus by 9% and FY26 Resort EBITDA guidance lowered 3% below the Street-low at the midpoint with management highlighting the lowest snowfall in 30 years in Colorado and Utah, the analyst tells investors. Following the Q2 report, the firm lowers its FY26 and FY27 Resort adjusted EBITDA forecasts 8% and 1%, respectively.
