The United Steelworkers union has not accepted or rejected the latest labor agreement offer from Marathon Petroleum (MPC), which would cover workers at U.S. refineries and chemical plants, Reuters’ Erwin Seba reports. The offer, mad during talks on Sunday, would provide 30,000 employees represented by the union a 15% pay raise over the duration of the contract, the author notes.
