UPS (UPS) and the FAA said that a UPS cargo jet with three crew members on board crashed Tuesday evening not long after departing from the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, the Washington Post’s Angie Orellana Hernandez and Maria Luisa Paul report. A shelter-in-place order has been issued in the area for all locations within five miles of the hub, the authors note.
