Unity upgraded to Hold from Sell at Benchmark yesterday

As previously reported yesterday, Benchmark upgraded Unity (U) to Hold from Sell with no price target as the firm says many of its concerns have “either materialized or now appear to be longer-term potential realizations.” However, the firm adds that secular challenges in game development from AI remain “a major concern” and emerging as a real competitor in the mobile game market will be “exceedingly difficult” given AppLovin’s (APP) continued success and significant lead.
