United Natural Foods (UNFI) is working to bring its systems back online by June 15 after the company shut down its IT systems and limited shipping orders after discovering an intrusion on June 5, according to Bloomberg, citing an email sent Monday to customers that was viewed by the news service. The cyberattack resulted in a nationwide systems outage and has impacted Amazon’s (AMZN) Whole Foods Market, a major customer, Bloomberg’s Cameron Fozi, Margi Murphy and Jake Bleiberg reported. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike (CRWD) is helping United Natural respond to the incident, according to Bloomberg, citing a person familiar with the matter.
