Morgan Stanley analyst Ravi Shanker raised the firm’s price target on United Airlines (UAL) to $140 from $130 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. Q3 was “a big beat” and Q4 guidance was well ahead of consensus, pushing FY25 EPS towards the high end of the guidance range, the analyst tells investors. The company’s “confident call” included plenty of discussion on structural EPS growth potential, which is “a good sign that the coast is clear enough to look longer term,” according to the analyst, who argues that “the path to $15+ EPS is clear again.”
