Universal Music (UMGNF), Warner Music, and Sony Music (SONY) are in talks to license their work to AI music services Udio and Suno, Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw reports. The talks aim to settle lawsuits between the two sides, with music companies seeking license fees and equity in Udio and Suno, which use generative AI to help make music, people familiar with the discussions say.
