Ubisoft’s (UBSFY) unions STJV, CFE-CGC, CGT, Printemps Ecologique, and Solidaries Infortmatique have called for a “massive international strike” after the French game maker announced a major restructuring last week that confirmed the cancellation of several games, a return to full-time in-office work, another round of job cuts, and more studio closures, Gamesindustry.biz’s Vikka Blake reported Wednesday. In a joint statement, the unions claim there was “no dialogue or respect” from management to union representatives, and the unions are calling for a four-day work stoppage across February 10-13, the author notes.
