Ubisoft (UBSFY) said it expects to lay off 55 workers as part of further cost-cutting, this time at “The Division” maker Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft Stockholm, IGN’s Tom Phillips reports. The likely cuts follow an earlier voluntary buyout program that did not achieve as many leavers as necessary for the game maker’s plans to reduce headcount, the author notes. “Earlier today, we informed all employees in our Swedish studios (Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft Stockholm) about a proposed organizational restructure that may affect approximately 55 roles across Malmo and Stockholm,” Ubisoft told IGN in a statement.
