Ubisoft (UBSFY) is ending game development at its Red Storm Entertainment unit, which is responsible for developing early titles in the “Tom Clancy” game franchises, such as “Rainbow Six” and “Ghost Recon,” VideoGamesChronicle’s Andy Robinson reports. The French game maker announced internally that the studio will continue operating in the form of global IT and Snowdrop support, but all game development staff have been laid off, resulting in 105 job cuts, the author says.
