Uber launches new ‘for every day’ features at Go-Get 2025

At Go-Get 2025, Uber is launching “new ways to help you save on the things you do every day,” Sachin Kansal, Chief Product Officer, said. The new features include Route Share – the company’s “most affordable ride offering yet,” Route Share offers pickups every 20 minutes along busy corridors during weekday commute hours with up to two co-riders. “And with fares up to 50% cheaper than the cost of an UberX, it’s the perfect way to get to and from work without breaking the bank,” Uber says; Ride Passes – the company is introducing two new ways to save on most frequent trips, namely Price Lock Pass for just $2.99/month, allowing riders to lock in a price for a specific route and save up to $50 per month, and Prepaid Pass, where users can pay upfront for 5, 10, 15, or 20 rides on your regular routes to unlock even deeper discounts; Commute Alerts and Hub – allows users to set up AI-powered Commute Alerts to get notified when it’s the best time to request-based on your personal ride history, available drivers, and real-time pricing trends; Uber One Member Days + New Benefits – the company is adding more benefits to Uber One, and announcing the first ever Uber One Member Days, a week-long celebration of epic deals, special promos, and big savings just for members from May 16-23; Uber Eats Savings Slider – when users create a grocery list, Uber Eats will compare prices within the store or even recommend a nearby grocery store with better deals for your items; Dine Out – a new way to discover and claim in-person dining deals directly from the Uber Eats app, as the company also says it is teaming up with OpenTable to enhance dining experience; Shared Autonomous Rides – Uber (UBER) is teaming up with Volkswagen (VWAGY) to launch the first shared autonomous ride, starting in Los Angeles in early 2026.
