The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a probe into over 1.4M Honda (HMC) vehicles sold in the U.S. over concerns the connecting rod bearing failures could lead to complete engine failure, Reuters reports. This comes after the regulator received 414 reports on the issue in various Hone and Acura vehicles with 3.5L V6 engines.
