U.S. car makers curtail gains after Trump calls off Canada trade talks

Shares of U.S. car makers Ford (F), General Motors (GM), and Stellantis (STLA) are trading off previous highs, though still trading higher, after President Trump announced in a Truth Socical post that the U.S. had terminated “all discussions on trade with Canada.” Stellantis is up 3.2%, Ford is up 1.4%, and General Motors is up 0.8% in afternoon trading.
