3.88M PC and console video games were purchased in the U.K. during the month of September, an increase of 8% over the same period last year, Gamesindustry.biz’s Christopher Dring reports, citing data from GSD. The top selling game for the month was Electronic Arts’ (EA) “EA Sports FC 25,” whose launch sales dropped 4.6% over last year’s entry, the author says. Other top-selling games for the month were Focus Entertainment’s “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2,” Ubisoft’s (UBSFY) “The Crew 2,” Ubisoft’s “Star Wars Outlaws,” Sony‘s (SONY) “Astro Bot,” Warner Bros. Discovery’s (WBD) “Hogwarts Legacy,” and Take-Two’s (TTWO) “GTA V” and “NBA 2K25.”
