Trump weighs one month delay for auto tariffs, Bloomberg reports

The Trump administration is considering a one month delay for automakers from tariffs on Mexico and Canada, Josh Wingrove , Eric Martin, David Welch and Keith Naug of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. Administration officials met Tuesday to discuss the matter with the heads of Ford., General Motors, and Stellantis, and nether meeting on possible tariff relief is set for Wednesday at the White House, sources told Bloomberg. Publicly traded companies in the auto space include Ford (F), General Motors (GM), Honda (HMC), Mercedes-Benz (MBGYY), Nissan (NSANY), Stellantis (STLA), Tesla (TSLA), Toyota (TM) and Volkswagen (VWAGY).
