President Trump suggested the U.S. government could take over Spirit Airlines, Alison Sider, Brian Schwartz, and Alexander Gladstone of The Wall Street Journal reports. “We’re thinking about doing it, helping them out, meaning bailing them out, or buying it. I think we’d just buy it,” Trump said, speaking from the Oval Office. Trump believes the company’s aircraft and assets were good and the government could sell the company for a profit when oil prices fall.
