Treasury’s OFAC announces sanctions on Colombian President

The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control targeted four individuals, who the agency said had been added to a “specially designated nationals list,” including Colombian President Gustavo Petro and the country’s Interior Minister Armando Benedetti. President Trump has accused Petro of allowing narcotics trafficking to flourish.
