U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta holds the fate of Google’s search engine business, with the judge to hear closing arguments from lawyers at the Justice Department and Google over how to improve competition in online searches, Katherine Blunt and Dave Michaels of The Wall Street Journal reports. Mehta’s ruling is also expected to play a large role in the future of AI. The ruling is expected to be issued in August.
