Texas Instruments (TXN) introduced new automotive semiconductors and development resources to enhance safety and autonomy across vehicle models. TI’s scalable TDA5 computing system-on-a-chip family offers processing and edge artificial intelligence that supports up to Society of Automotive Engineers Level 3 vehicle autonomy. TI also unveiled the AWR2188, a single-chip, eight-by-eight 4D imaging radar transceiver. These devices, alongside the DP83TD555J-Q1 10BASE-T1S Ethernet physical layer, join TI’s broader automotive portfolio for driver assistance systems and software-defined vehicles. TI is debuting these products at CES 2026, Jan. 6-9, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
