David Lau, Tesla’s (TSLA) vice president of software engineering, has told people at the company that he is stepping down, Dana Hull and Ed Ludlow of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. Lau is one of the few executives to promote Tesla’s products alongside Elon Musk and has been at the company for almost 13 years, Bloomberg points out.
